In addition to its core execution offering they are the leading industry platform for Delta-Neutral Auctions which provide jump-to-default risk reduction and the company is official co-administrator of the industry standard ISDA Cash Settlement Auctions.RequirementsJob Description – Quality Assurance Analyst / TesterDescriptionThe candidate will perform manual and develop automated testing for our real-time trading platform. This role requires frequent interaction with developers, product managers, and client support analysts in order to ensure that we deliver a quality-trading platform to our users.Responsibilities- Strong background in functional testing with the ability to design and develop comprehensive automated test strategy and test cases
- Strong background in reviewing business and functional requirements in order to produce a test strategy and test cases
- Automation of regression test scripts
- Perform manual and automated functional and regression testing on all internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation
- Report and manage software issues and test activities throughout the software development life cycle
- Work closely with other QA department members to create/maintain manual and automated regression scripts
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university with a major in computer science, finance or mathematics
- Minimum 3 Years of hands-on automation scripting experience
- FIX API testing experience is preferred
- Must be proficient with one of the existing mainstream automation tools (Only possessing record and playback knowledge is insufficient in this case)
- Must be proficient in one of the scripting languages. Preferably Perl or Jython
- Must be proficient with SQL
- Knowledge of SQA methodologies and practices
- Extensive knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools
- Ability to work independently and productively under pressure
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and decision making ability
- Knowledge of CDS business and industry is a plus
- Experience in Load/Performance automation testing is a plus

QA Algorithmic Trading Tester
My client is a leading global investment bank in New York and is looking for a highly technical QA analyst to lead testing efforts on the in house developed trading systems. This position is located in New York City with the salary ranging from $95,000 to $140,000 per annum.
Your primary responsibilities will be to provide manual and automated testing efforts for their interest rates derivatives systems. You will be responsible for creating system test strategies and test cases while maintaining your own test environment and executing them according to business requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for communicating all testing efforts to the developers, BA, and PM’s.
Your skills and experience should include prior and current experience working within the financial industry specifically working with trading systems. A detailed understanding of financial products such as Interest rates, Equities, and derivatives. You will be required to have a strong understanding creating and executing test plans and test cases and recording results and bug defects. In addition, prior or current experience with the following:
-Unix
-Shell and Perl scripting.
-Strong experience working with SQL.
