  • Daily Trader – Pension Services

    Mercer Advisors has a great opportunity to work in our Pension Department as a Daily Trader.  The Daily Trader is responsible for processing all plan transactions and trading with various custodians. 
    Responsibilities include:
    • Reconciling and processing all payroll submissions
    • Monitoring plan deposits and withdrawals
    • Processing all participant and advisor plan transfer and rebalancing requests
    • Processing all loan and distribution requests
    • Processing all fee requests
    • Reconciling daily trade and confirmation files
    • Reconciling daily cash and share balances
    • Maintaining log files of daily activity
    • Scanning and maintaining files
    • Preparing quarterly reporting statements for administrator review
    • Maintenance of system to reflect fund changes, fund closures, price updates, etc.
    • Maintaining system to add/update/delete automated jobs as necessary
    • Maintaining and monitoring plan sponsor and participant websites
    • Responding to participant requests for information
    • Coordinating with trading partners to resolve issues and ensure accuracy of trading activities and processes
    • Coordinating with advisors regarding plan conversions and set-up
    • Other duties assigned as needed
     Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years daily trading experience
    • Any additional pension or retirement planning industry experience a plus
    • Relius administration experience with straight-through processing and data validation center experience REQUIRED
    • Proficient with MS Office including spreadsheet proficiency in Excel
    • Experience with trust and brokerage services
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills, dependability, ability to stay focused, and detail-oriented
