Well established, reputable company in the Minneapolis, MN area is seeking an individual to serve in the role of Marketer for their organization. The role of this position is to provide consistent profits by effectively generating sales and purchase contracts for an assigned group of commodities (canola meal, gluten meal, dried distillers grain, lamb meal, bone meal, fish meal) and to develop strong business acumen with acceptable margins for the organization, promote growth and present opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Produce profitable sales and areas for growth
Build relationships with vendors, suppliers and customers by providing value added products
Collect market information and gain a comprehensive knowledge about the commodities traded
Buy, Sell agricultural products such as canola meal, gluten meal, dried distillers grain, lamb meal, bone meal, fish meal, and sell to Dairy, Cattle feedlots/producers and/or ingredients sold into Pet Food.
Manage risk by operating within established guidelines
Work within defined position limits as well as established company policies and procedure
Work effective in a team environment
Experience and Education
Bachelors Degree in Ag/Business or other related disciplines
