Position Title: CVA Trader Workstation System — Senior Developer/Architect

Position Description:
Front-office credit risk technology group is in the early stages of new development of a CVA Trader Risk Management System for the CVA trading desk and strategists/quants. A highly motivated, experienced and able to work independently senior software developer/architect is sought to take part in the original design and development of the trading workstration system — CVA trader’s primary tool for viewing and managing risk. The candidate will lead projects and potentially a small development team, promote best software development practices, develop key system components and mentor junior developers.

Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven design and implementation experience in the development of OTC Derivatives Trading and Risk Management systems within a distributed, service based entreprise environment. Seeking a senior developer with prior leadership experience, quick learner, able to work independently, run development projects, lead and guide junior developers and hands on develop flexible, extensible system components. Technical skills include strong hands on Core Java and Spring development, Python, SOAP, XML, relational databases. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required, as is the ability to work directly with end-users. BS/MS in Comp Sci or equivalent.

Skills Desired:
Prior C++ and/or C#/.Net experience a plus. Experience with a grid computing environment, pub/sub or messaging systems also a plus.
