  • Chief FX Trader / Manager – Director: $150-200K

    Our client, a major international bank located in New York City is seeking a Chief FX Trading Manager – Director Level to lead a team of FX Traders.  This individual must have strong management experience in the supervising of FX trading activity and be very well versed in all FX products. This role will recommend and implement trading strategies to staff, and provide competitive pricing to Marketing Group clients, in addition to managing the overall risk involved. The bank is offering a base salary of 150 – 200K + competitive bonus

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Supervise FX activity and operation throughout the department
    • Develop profit targets and loss limits within the authorized position
    • Enhance and expand FX product business with banking clients working closely with marketing group
    • Manage the department coordinating with the Group Head of Trading
    • Participate and share in the Trading Group goals
    Requirements
    Job Requirements:

    • 10+ years of FX trading experience at a major bank – in depth knowledge of FX products
    • 5+ years management experience or Chief FX Trader experience
    • Experience communicating with institutional clients
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Strong communication and marketing skills
    • Bachelor’s degree required

    Our client, an international bank located in NYC is seeking a Head Trader to manage the FX trading desk. This individual must be an accomplished FX trader with experience managing a proprietary trading book and broad knowledge of global foreign currencies and diverse financial products such as derivatives, interest rates, options and structured products. A seasoned trading professional with extensive staff management, development and assessment experience as well as the ability to develop trading strategies and work with internal departments to develop and implement department system and process enhancements.

    Major Responsibilities:

    Manage the FX trading desk activities on a daily basis – including a staff of 8 + trading professionals
    Quote pricing and develop trading strategies
    Liaise with all areas of the bank including legal, technology, relationship managers / private bankers, sales
    Communicate with private clients
    Oversee and participate in the development and enhancement of systems and processes within the department.

    Requirements

    Job Requirements:

    10 + years of FX trading experience and knowledge of financial products including structured products, interest rates etc
    Strong management and leadership skills
    Proprietary trading experience
    Strong trading professional with a proven yearly P&L of $1million +
    Bachelor’s degree required
