    This challenging position is responsible for providing proactive investment analysis and client service support to Senior Portfolio Managers and Senior Investment Advisors who are responsible for servicing Harris myCFO investment clients.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Retain, service and enhance client relationships
    • Primary contact for handling client transactions, responding to and resolving routine client inquiries and service issues.
    • Prepare custom investment reports and client deliverables.
    • Demonstrate and maintain an in-depth  understanding of the client’s profile, objectives and goals.
    • Demonstrate strong team support in retaining 95%+ client assets under advisement.
    • Collaboratively develop and execute client plans/SWOT analysis.
    • Enhance current relationships through effective communication and trust building skills.
    • Partner with service team to deliver premier customer service and comprehensive financial services to clients.
    Effectively deliver investment advice and implementation support
    • Support Senior Portfolio Managers and Seniro Investment Advisors in the delivery of investment advice and the implementation of investment solutions.
    • Primary trading responsibility for portfolio management team, assist with implementation of investment management efficiencies.
    • Prepare custom reports/investment analytics, research (Bloomberg, Zephyr, Asset Allocation tools, etc)
    • Define, implement and maintain portfolio asset allocation levels to meet the client’s investment objectives using Harris’ strategic and active asset allocation targets.
    • Utilize Harris’ computer models and approved working lists of securities to assist in the structuring of client portfolios.
    • Comply with established processes, procedures and regulations in constructing client portfolios.
    • Work to achieve expert status on all investment and workstation systems and tools.
    • Ensure that 100% of Investment Policy Statements are in alignment with client goals and objectives.
    • Demonstrate working knowledge of the firm’s asset allocation process, current viewpoints and approved investment manager universe.
    • Review Client portfolios and make recommendations to the Portfolio Manager or Senior Investment Advisor to ensure that they reflect the client’s objectives and are in alignment with the firm’s viewpoints.
    • Ensure effective, accurate and timely implementation of all investment recommendations.
    Operational Effectiveness/Coordination
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with the integrated service team to deliver a great customer experience.
    • Oversight repsonsibility to ensure effective, accurate and timely implementation of all administrative activities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Quarterly Investment Reports and client deliverables.
    • Help identify and implement process enhancements to streamline workflow, work closely with all members of the support team to provide assistance, back-up and coverage to make a strong contribution to a solid and dependable team environment.

    Requirements
    Education
    • Bachelor’s degree; progress toward CFA and/or MBA highly desirable.
    Experience
    • 3-5 years experience with a financial services organization in a client service /analyst role with demonstrated success in supporting relationships in the ultra high net worth space.
    • Experience in managing relationships with sophisticated and demanding individuals and/or fiduciaries with complex needs.
    • Demonstrated client service and investment support experience and contributing to a team-based service deliverable.
    Skills
    • Advanced software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Adobe Professional, SharePoint)
    • Strong project management and organizational skills and proven track record of meeting multiple, sometimes conflicting deadlines
    • Must be able to deal with confidential client materials.
    • Ability to quickly learn proprietary software and databases
    • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

     1. Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established Associated Banc-Corp credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines.
    2. Manage Private Banking and Commercial relationships by analyzing financial data to determine the merits of specific loan requests, and recommend structure as well as aggressively managing the client relationship.
    3. Partner with the Relationship Manager as the point of a contact for the client; acting as a liaison to the department, the assistants and other internal business partners.
    4. Provide financial advice and counsel to clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment and general banking trends.
    5. Monitor loan repayment activities and financial condition of borrowing clients and take necessary action to collect past due accounts and ongoing repayment ability of all other accounts. Assumes overall responsibility for the credit quality of the loan portfolio.
    6. Make presentations on specific loans and participate in the bank’s Loan Approval Process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits.
    7. Manage the renewal process by working with the Relationship Manager the client and the credit department.
    8. Will prepare credit presenations both for existing and prospective borrowers to assist in the underwriting process. Determine the borrowers’ repayment ability as well as the Bank’s collateral position. Suggest an asset quality rating based on relationship review. Compile an accurate relationship profitability analysis as directed by corporate policy.
    9. Responsible for identifying cross sales opportunities of all bank services, especially non-borrowing services; Capital Market (SWAP) enhancements; P&C, Life and Group Health Insurance; Treasury Management; International Banking; Commercial Banking; Trust; Retirement Plan Services to our existing client base as well as prospects.
    10. Prepare the monthly asset quality reporting in addition to the review of new commercial loans to ensure the proper loan documents are in place, in compliance with governing laws and regulations and loan policy. Oversee and coordinate quarterly Criticized asset review meetings with an assigned region.
    11. Prepare Private Banking performance relative to portfolio administration through the use of various monthly and quarterly reports such as past due loans, maturing loans, annual reviews, documentation exceptions, etc. Report results to Private Banking Underwriting Review Manager.
    12. Participates in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank within the region’s marketplace.
    13. Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws.

    Requirements
    JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience Preferred Education MBA Minimum Experience
    Portfolio Manager level I:  3-5 years Private Banking or Commercial Banking experience.

    Ability to mentor less experienced portfolio managersJob Requirements Adherence to Company policy and procedures is required.
