In this position candidates will be ?
# Provides operational support for Capital Markets.
# Responsible for all clearance/settlement and trade processing of customer and firm securities.
# General responsibilities include order processing, purchase and sales (P&S) of securities functions, research and resolution of transaction or customer issues, trade processing, wiring transactions, billing, cash management, and clearance/processing activities.
# Functions as a liaison with sales, trading, and technology staff.
# Additional functions may include responsibilities related to trader support, customer service, documentation, and new account setup.
Foreign Exchange:
# Covers the operations support for foreign exchange activities, including currency options.
Basic Requirements:
# Must have a working knowledge of SWIFT/Wall Street Systems, and OPICS. May consider candidates with experience using MUREX, but SWIFT or Wall Street Systems preferred.
# Works with limited direction.
# Must have a college degree and six or more years of related experience, or equivalent, and a thorough understanding of the technologies required to support STRH Capital Markets.
Advanced Requirements:
# Functions independently as a senior technical expert.
# Fully knowledgeable of products and businesses.
# Should have at least five years experience in Capital Markets and Foreign Exchange, including SWIFT, OPICS, and eight to ten years overall experience.
