  • Marketing Program Manager, Brokerage Marketing

    The Marketing Program Manager works on the Brokerage Marketing team supporting direct response acquisition and engagement marketing campaigns, reporting to Senior Marketing Manager, Brokerage Marketing. Key channels include direct marketing (email/direct mail), web site (etrade.com), and online 3rd-party (display/search/social media). Key products include advanced trading platforms, Options, Futures, and Forex.

    The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized project manager who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, collaborative environment. The primary goal for the position is new customer acquisition and profitable revenue growth leveraging the active trader value proposition that consists of our best pricing, our most advanced tools and dedicated service from knowledgeable professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Management of external agency and internal creative resources in the development of creative and communication materials/campaigns that effectively meet campaign objectives, budget requirements and deadlines. This includes:
      • Prospect acquisition campaigns and offer development
      • Customer migration and re-activation
      • Ex-customer win-back On-going collaboration with Marketing, Product Management and other internal stakeholders
    • Ongoing collaboration with Marketing, Product Management and other internal stakeholders to efficiently/effectively execute programs according to the agreed upon strategy and business objectives
    • Campaign reporting and analysis, research and tracking of key performance metrics
    • Competitive Analysis (Competitive Positioning, Analyses, Rankings, Marketing & Sales Evaluations)
    • Budget management and tracking to ensure marketing expenses are aligned with quarterly budget forecasts
    Requirements
    Prior Experience (Type of Eperience)

    • 2 – 4 years marketing experience following a degree ideally in marketing or business disciplines
    • Prior advertising or marketing services agency experience

    AND/OR

    • Prior financial services category experience (Client/Marketing or Agency)



    Skills/Knowledge

    • Solid project management skills that include campaign development/planning, evaluation of briefing documents, supervision of creative development and production in addition to campaign reporting/analysis.
    • Direct response marketing/campaign experience (Direct Mail and Email)
    • Acquisition customer development
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask effectively
    • Creativity, strong writing skills, oral communications skills and ability to present.
    • Ability to work well within an inter-departmental and collaborative team environment

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree

    • Series 3 (Futures) is a 90 day condition of employment
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
    • Strong business judgment 
    • Proven success  in sales, sales management, and overall leadership (previous project management and or business analysis experience a plus)
    • Strong knowledge of the Active Trader/Options business and client base preferred.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking. The person must possess professional business qualifications and strong communication skills. Candidates will work directly with senior level managers and must be energetic, professional, organized, and excited to learn more about our growing company. 

    Primary Responsibilities: 
    The main responsibility of the role will be managing customers which involves: 
    Creation and execution of a business plan with a numeric and qualitative key performance indicators, which are tracked by annually. 
    Customer Relationship management in the B2B realm by creating a preferred customer base and value for the company. 
    Further enhancing the brand value of the company by creating and reinforcing the product and company attributes. 
    Business development in Ingredients and Snack Nuts segments of the business in US/Canada. 
    Develop in depth understanding of the downstream manufacturing and retail supply chain landscape. 
    Bucket management of product grade groups 
    Active interaction and coordination with the companies own upstream supply resources 
    Operation management of inventory, debtors and vendor payables. 
    Helping the marketing team to form views of the short term and long term market trends. 
    Creating a database of US/Canada consumption data and reconciling with origin export data 
    Analyzing the North American Supply and Demand factors and aligning with the overall global S&D picture. 
    System and HR administration of logistics support staff.
     RequirementsA knowledge of both the global financial markets and a good level of understanding and/or immediate experience in the agricultural commodities markets. 
    Strong attention to detail capability 
    Critical thinking and strong business acumen. 
    Entrepreneurship and business ownership skills 
    Excellent communication skills. 
    Professional business degree preferred. 
    The following qualifications are preferred: 
    A GPA at or above 3.2 (on a 4-point scale) 
    A Bachelor’s Degree and related work history with experience in finance (Masters degree or MBA will be preferred) 
    Study abroad experience and/or the ability to speak multiple languages.
