Johnson Matthey, a specialty chemicals company, is looking for a Precious Metals Trader to join our Precious Metals Marketing team. We are conveniently located in Wayne PA, about 30 minutes outside Center City Philadelphia.
In this position, the successful candidate will execute metal trades between Johnson Matthey individual business units and with external customers. This position will also market and sell precious metals to external customers.
Requirements
Qualifications/Experience Necessary
* BS Degree in a related business area
* 2-4 years experience in a fast paced Commercial Sales environment or Finance role preferred
* Prior experience working with precious metals a strong plus
* Strong analytical skills with computer literacy
* Effective communication skills needed, both oral and written, for daily contact with customers
* Willingness to travel – infrequently
* Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
* Able to work effectively as a member of a small team
