Trading Support Specialist; $55-65K
Our prestige trading software vendor has an immediate need for a Jr. Trading Software Support Specialist. We tend to like candidates who have been involved with the Trading or Financial services with some finance background, either from a University or direct experience at a trading firm. You will work with highly advanced software system for real-time exchange trading (mostly the options markets) where the combined competence and innovative ability of to solve complex problems is of the greatest value.
The Chicago office works with trading firms active on the major futures and options markets such as the CME, ICE, and CBOE. The office has currently 35 employees. Due to high demand for the software products the office will continue to grow, which means excellent career opportunity for the right candidate. The office is located in downtown Chicago, the work environment is fast paced and the team is highly skilled.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications
# College degree in Engineering, Financial Engineering, Math or Computer Science.
# Experience with Windows and UNIX/ LINUX operating systems.
# Familiar with Trading Software, Equities, Futures and Options Trading a plus
# Ability to multi-task and work with multiple customers simultaneously.
# Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and a genuine interest in the financial markets.
