Florida Gas Utility (FGU), a municipal joint action agency located in Gainesville, FL that provides natural gas management services to municipal utility systems throughout Florida, has an excellent opportunity for an individual to fill the position of Senior Managing Trader.
The Senior Managing Trader is responsible for the direction and supervision of the trading, scheduling and support functions for the acquisition of all natural gas requirements and capacity management for FGU’s member utility systems. An employee in this class must exercise considerable independent judgment and decision making related to supply acquisition, asset optimization, and transportation of natural gas. Work is performed with considerable independent judgment under the general supervision of the Operations Director or General Manager.
