CEF (Commodity Enhanced Finance) is part of the Structured Finance group of Noble. The main aim of the team is to provide innovative trade related financing products to financial institutions and corporate customers, principally located in emerging markets.
CEF leverages Noble’s trade flows (softs, energy and metals) to offer, for example, trade related loans secured by LCs. Through this product the team also accesses interest rate and currency arbitrages creating value for both Noble and it customers.
CEF is headquartered in Lausanne and ensures a comprehensive geographical coverage.
CEF works closely with the Structured Finance, Treasury and FX trading teams to maximize bank relationships and co-create solutions.
In line with the continuing growth globally of our CEF team, we are seeking a bright and ambitious trader/manager to kick start and lead our activity in North America.
Traders’ responsibilities include to:
* Continue to build Noble’s TSF brand in the US and Canada
* Establish and maintain multi-level relationships with banks and export credit agencies in the target market.
* Identify and capture opportunities to place Noble’s TSF products with investors.
* Coordinate with other TSF traders globally.
* Cooperate with other business units within Noble on bank relations.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with :
* a University degree
* a minimum of 7-10 years trade finance/financial institutions experience
* Full understanding of UCP 600, letters of credit, bank guarantees, SBLCs and Bills of Exchange
Preference will be given to candidates with a Structured trade finance background and understanding of structured letters of credit.
