My client is a leading global investment bank in New York and is looking for a highly technical QA analyst to lead testing efforts on the in house developed trading systems. This position is located in New York City with the salary ranging from $95,000 to $140,000 per annum.

Your primary responsibilities will be to provide manual and automated testing efforts for their interest rates derivatives systems. You will be responsible for creating system test strategies and test cases while maintaining your own test environment and executing them according to business requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for communicating all testing efforts to the developers, BA, and PM’s.

Your skills and experience should include prior and current experience working within the financial industry specifically working with trading systems. A detailed understanding of financial products such as Interest rates, Equities, and derivatives. You will be required to have a strong understanding creating and executing test plans and test cases and recording results and bug defects. In addition, prior or current experience with the following:
-Unix
-Shell and Perl scripting.
-Strong experience working with SQL.
-Automation tools(QTP)
