    Assist the Team Leader and Trader in formulating the team’s middle and long-term hedge plan and trading strategies. Function as a Trader and Strategist.

    Responsibilities:

    * Assist the Team Leader in formulating the team’s middle and long-term hedge plan and trading strategies.
    * Will conduct credit analysis of US corporates, formulate a hedge plan and will then create an application to implement the plan. Will execute credit derivatives trades in line with the bank’s guidelines.
    * In addition, will conduct credit analysis of European and Latin American corporate names.
    * Create a daily market recap to report to the Tokyo Head Office. Respond to inquiries from Head Office by creating reports, and recap with an opinion.
    * Conduct research into regulations, laws, market rules, systems and any other issues related to credit derivatives.
    * Support any other exit strategies within the bank’s guidelines.
    * Develop and upgrade the bank’s credit portfolio management (hedge) techniques. The candidate is expected to be very experienced in this field.
    * Develop and upgrade system infrastructure. The candidate is expected to be experienced in trading flow infrastructure.
    * Implement front system operations.
    * Support team leader in audits, on/offsite monitoring and investigations by internal and external auditors.
    * Will manage one Analyst.
    * Conduct other assignments as required by the Team Leader.

    Requirements

    Experience/Abilities:

    * The candidate should have an outstanding knowledge of corporate credit analysis. Experience analyzing credit derivatives or fixed income transactions at a large investment bank or asset manager is also desirable.
    * The candidate is expected to be a highly motivated, proactive, creative, challenging and flexible person.
    * The candidate should have a high sense of responsibility.
    * The candidate will be required to trade single name CDS and CDX. It is not necessary to have prior trading experience. However, basic credit market knowledge is required.
    * A candidate with back office experience is welcome.
    * Experienced in trading flow infrastructure is required.
    * Excellent communication skills required.
    * Prior experience managing junior level staff is preferred.

    Joining a fast pace, dynamic data warehouse team in a major financial institution to conduct the following major tasks:

    Design and implement massively parallel, in-memory ETL and compliance reporting systems

    Integrating, manipulating and processing high volume data using Perl, Java, distributed cache

    Create, maintain, and support data warehousing applications and processes, as well as compliance and business reporting functions

    Performance tuning on report generation both in the application and in the database layer

    Technical Skills:

    The potential candidate must have the following experience and skills.

    Prior experience in the design and implement massively parallel, in-memory ETL systems for Equity trading data warehouse

    Extensive knowledge of software development life-cycle

    Strong JAVA, J2EE, Perl, Unix/Linux shell scripting

    Extensive experience with messaging middleware using EMS and MQ

    Extensive knowledge and experience with memory management and distributed caching

    Extensive experience in databases development within Oracle/Sybase and exceptional SQL skill

    Experience in applying above technologies for large volume trading data analysis; transaction data processing, integration and compliance reporting such as OATS

    Strong team player, multi-tasking capable, can work efficiently under pressure and work independently in a different location. Pay attention to detail

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Strong problem solving skill, energetic with keen desire to learn quickly

    The following skills are preferred:

    Knowledge in C/C++, UNIX internals

    Job control and system monitoring tools such as Autosys and ITRS

    BI and compliance reporting experience

    Data modeling and ER diagram

    Knowledge on Equity trading, financial instrument, market data and reference data

    We are seeking an individual as a Portfolio Management Application Specialist.     Pay range $50,000-$70,000 Yearly

    Requirements

    * B.S./B.A. in Business or equivalent experience

    * Knowledge and “hands on” experience of Advent Moxy trading system
    * Ability to work under pressure, working to deadlines and dealing with high volumes
