    We are seeking candidates to fill the Equity Trader position for a leading investment firm. Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to within 45 minutes of our clients office location; candidates that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

    Job Description

    This position, as part of the trading team, will be responsible for implementing optimal trading strategies for the daily trade program in addition to preparing and verifying data inputs into the portfolio optimizer, verifying output for data accuracy, performing equity research and monitoring news and market conditions, post-trade processing, and reviewing and analyzing transaction costs.

    Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will have strong computer proficiency, highly developed organizational, communication and analytical skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must adhere to a disciplined approach and be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Understanding of electronic trading systems, transaction cost analysis systems, and the application of quantitative models to trading is required. Must have an MBA in Finance or equivalent and CFA Level 1 Certificate a must. A minimum of 6 months’ experience in an electronic trading environment and familiarity with financial markets is preferred.

    A professional trading firm in Wall Street, New York is currently looking for executive / senor level manager who will run an equity proprietary trading floor. As member of a senior management team, a Director maintains SEC/ FINRA compliance with firm/regulatory rules and policies as it pertains to trading and new account activities through the daily review of records.
