Main Function 
Role:
US Equity Finance trader working on the specials desk (part of a three person team) managing the book of US specials/hard to borrow names and special situations trades. This role has a mandate to provide locates to clients, interact with Financing Sales on client planning, manage the specials book P&L, own the risk associated with corp actions trades, manage buy-in/recall exposure and aid in the further development/automation of trading tools/processes.
Responsibilities: 
* Manage specials inventory across the division, coordinating with the Supply Team and facilitating coverage of broker/dealers and retail accounts
* Provide locates to internal and external clients
* Provide content, market color and trade idea generation in an effort to help maximize the client penetration sales effort
* Responsible for trading and pricing US corp actions, special situation trades and sourcing synthetic inventory through outperformance/options strategies
* Work with quants, financing sales, specials trading and research teams to develop ideas and establish the axe/focus list.

Person Requirements 
Basic Qualifications: 
* NASD Series 7, 63 registered
* 3+ years in Equity Finance/Securities Lending or relevant equity/options trading experience

Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong trading skills and an understanding of pricing corporate action trades
* In-depth product and market knowledge
* Strong client relationships and communication skills

Job Description:

Role:
Equity Finance trader with responsibilities that would include but not be limited to: Providing locates to clients, interacting with Financing Sales on client planning, managing the equity book PnL across client, firm and matchbook trades, managing buy-in/recall exposure, helping contribute to and shape IT development and enhancements to our current systems, use quantitative techniques and models to maximize the performance and profitability of the Securities Lending business.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Supply Team to access specials from Sec Lenders (Banks) and facilitate coverage of broker/dealers and retail accounts
Provide locates to Financing Sales team and Equities Division for US equities
Provide content, market color and trade idea generation in an effort to help maximize the client penetration sales effort.
Manage specials inventory across all legal entities in which we transact (BCI/BCSL/BBPLC)
Manage recall/buy-in mitigation
Successfully implement new or enhanced applications for Securities Lending team. Contribute to setting of high standards for code development and implement high quality development processes.
Provide strong C# /.Net / Sybase development skills to the EFG development team. Working on strategic Securities Lending enhancement projects

Basic Qualifications

1+ years with C/C++, SQL, and Excel/VBA
1+ years of financial services experience

Preferred Qualifications

Awareness of risk situations and demonstrated ability to adhere to procedures to ensure risk mitigation
Reliable and trusted team player; ability to work with people of all levels.
Can approach problem solving objectively.
Able to multi-task and prioritize assignments while maintaining a high quality. Detail-oriented.
Strong written, verbal and listening skills
