Responsible for the Closing and Settlement of secondary transactions traded by an authorized trader (“Trader”) in GE Capital Americas Bank Loan business. Closing resposibilities include receiving or emitting documentation confirming a trade, transferring the asset under the loan agreement and assuring that Operations is in process of wiring or receiving funds to conclude a trade – and any ancillary but related procedures necessary to effect the proper closure of the transaction.
Essential Responsibilities
# Responsible for scheduling and executing funding and providing ongoing support for loan participation business as part of Trade Execution Desk
# Coordinate closings with counterparty and internal deal teams daily
# Work closely with deal team, traders, legal counsel and operations to obtain accurate information for all transactions
# Track approvals of transactions
# Receive transaction information from the Trader and interface with the Seller or Buyer to initiate exchange of Trade Confirmation documentation
# Ensure fundings are accurate, timely and in compliance with credit approval
# Prepare both internal and external trade documentation
# Review and ensure that all trade documents are properly executed
# Research current holdings and loan structure
# Maintain organization of files for all current trades
# Follow up on post closing items (i.e. funds sent or received, documentation and closing fees)
# Provide administrative support during underwriting process.
# Assist in ad hoc projects and ongoing process improvements related to the Trade Execution Desk Closing function.
# Responsible for and has ability to comply with all policies ad procedures.

# Related experience in a lending environment in finance, accounting, or other comparable experience
# Strong interpersonal skills developing ability to work across business platforms as well as deal constantly and consistently with external counterparties.
