At the completion of your orientation period, you will be allocated a portion of the firm’s capital to begin your career as a junior equity trader. This capital allocation is reviewed on a weekly basis. Performance based increases in capital allocations are made if a trader exhibits consistent profitability and growth. Traders will be expected to analyze, model, and deploy equity trading strategies and improve upon trading system performance.
Requirements
• All traders are required to take and pass the industry Series 56 exam unless you have an active Series 7 which may obviate the need for the examination through the waiver process.
• You will be required to provide a capital contribution of $3,500 which will be deposited to your capital account with the company.
• This is a non-salaried based position and you must be in a stable financial position to endure possibly 2-3 months without income. Eligible candidates will have strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and an understanding of developing and deploying technical strategies.
• Solid object oriented programming, computer science, quantitative, or previous trading experience preferred.
