Brief Description of Role:
As a Brokerage Services Rep Manager at optionsXpress, you will provide leadership, people management, and general oversight for the optionsXpress Brokerage Services phone teams.  You will directly manage 12-15 brokers, pursuing the optionsXpress and Charles Schwab mission and values through:

  • Foreseeing changes in the business environment and developing plans to proactively address them
  • Conducting extensive interaction with employees at all levels to identify issues and opportunities
  • Assisting online customers by answering phone calls and by responding to emails
  • Placing and facilitating execution of customer orders
  • Resolving complex customer trading issues, or those escalated by team members
  • Assisting in the development of applications to improve accuracy and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years brokerage/financial services experience
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory/management experience required with demonstrated ability to develop leadership and management skills in coaching and developing people at all performance levels via establishes performance objectives, regular feedback, and appropriate recognition
  • Demonstrated passion for providing client-centric solutions
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm and strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to influence and integrate complex information
  • High-level expertise in multiple job processes and extensive knowledge of related regulatory requirements
  • Experience with options and futures trading industry preferred
