Financial Data Architect – SYBASE / ORACLE – Data Architect Stock Trading Software PL/SQL – $150k+

We are a leading nationwide financial portfolio management company with offices all over the world. We are an extremely stable and quickly growing organization developing new tools and software products that help equity traders and investment professionals manage their clients portfolios.

We are looking for a Data Architect / Software Expert to help us improve application performance tuning and overall system improvements and response time, as we migrate data from SYBASE to Oracle 11i/G.

Major Responsibilities: Table design and Tuning, Stored Procedures, application efficiency, financial application performance enhancement, creating custom tools for equity management, SQL optimizer, etc. 

Must Have Skills:
1.) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software or Computer Engineering
2.) At least 7 years of Oracle Applications Development & Engineering Experience as a PL/SQL Developer
3.) Expertise in application performance tuning (response time improvement, resolving performance issues)
4.) Financial Industry / Application experience is a HUGE plus!!

For your hard work, you will be rewarded with an offer that includes a strong base salary ($150k give or take), excellent health benefits, 401k Matching, plus an annual bonus up to 25 percent of your base salary.
