Overview:
We are currently seeking a driven and talented Software Architect who thrives on pushing the limits of technology to produce state of the art trading application infrastructure. Building on the X_TRADER® order-entry product line’s established reputation for performance and innovation, TT has developed a trader-centric charting platform. X_STUDY™ provides charting and analytics fully integrated into the TT software architecture. Analytics API provides open, direct access to historical market data and technical indicators for use in trading applications. X_STUDY™/Analytics Software Architects are constantly challenged to deliver creative, imaginative solutions for highly complex technical issues. A Trading Products Software Architect takes ownership of large projects as a technical lead and is assigned development resources.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement software requirements and new product features, while enhancing and maintaining existing functionality for our sophisticated front-end software used for electronically trading in the world’s major derivatives/futures exchanges.
- Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces and interfaces with other systems.
- Design, develop and code new features in new Analytics API
- Participate in design discussions and review sessions.
- Create high-level and detailed design documents.
- Assist with product documentation, unit testing and ensuring overall product quality.
- 7+ years of solid development experience with .NET C# and WinForms.
- Strong object-oriented design skills.
- Solid development experience with C++ and C#
- Working knowledge of STL and template programming is a plus.
- Experience with C++/CLI
- Financial trading systems experience is a plus.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate to technical requirements.
