Buy-Side Foreign Exchange Trader and Market Specialist, AVP

State Street Global Markets Currency Management Team is currently seeking a person to join the Currency Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day rebalancing of client portfolios, execution of trades, and reporting of daily activity. Experience in the FX Markets with a focus on various trading methods is required. Candidate must be familiar with various trading strategies (VWAP, TWAP, etc.) and liquidity concerns in the FX Markets (sourcing best liquidity, spreads, etc.). Knowledge of algorithmic trading strategies and various other electronic trading methods is desired.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an acute attention to detail and have an error-free track record. He/She should also have a general understanding of investment management activities and of the institutional investor client base. He/She will have a strong desire to learn, appreciate the importance of meeting deadlines and be extremely self motivated.

The successful candidate should have the ability to work within a dynamic environment and interact efficiently with other team members. Additionally, a keen focus on client relationships and customer service is extremely important.
