Lead a small team in its trading activities of physical Sugar throughout the Western Hemisphere. Set the overall direction of the team in regard to goals, objectives, and marketing strategy. Assume overall P&L responsibility while managing the inherent risks in international trade and commodity markets. Manage book of business. Bring high energy, integrity, and creativity into a team environment.
Requirements
5-10 years’ experience in the trade of world market physical sugars
(i.e. 45 Icumsa, 150 Icumsa, and raw sugar);
Understand the use of futures and options for hedging purposes;
Ability to recognize risks;
Knowledge of both break bulk and container logistics;
Understanding of S&D’s;
Minimum Bachelor’s degree;
Language skills – Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
