Securities Sales Trader – Portuguese

• The Sales Trader is involved opening new accounts and developing relationships for the Broker Dealer in Securities and Commodities.
• Position will focus on strong phone skills and multi-tasking to ensure daily completion and resolution of all service related calls, including reviewing of trade related tasks and reporting
• Work with marketer and legal to expedite the execution of agreements and documentation
• Assistance in preparation of presentation to clients and to the Bank
• Trade execution of fixed-income and equity instruments
• Trade execution of derivative instruments
• Client contact initiation, account opening, and account servicing
• Provision of market information on a daily as well as an ad hoc basis
• Investor prospecting for US distribution of fixed income and equity deals

Requirements

* Business, Financial or economics degree or equivalent in professional experience
* 3 years of experience in this position
* FINRA Series 7, 63 and 3
* Knowledge of US and Brazilian Capital Markets
* Preferred Fluency in Portuguese (oral and written)
* Ability to resolve difficult service issues
* Ability to work in a fast paced brokerage environment
* Strong communications and presentation skills (both oral and written) in Portuguese and English.
* Availability to travel to visit clients and to participate in Seminars and Conference.
* Ability to resolve difficult service issues
* Ability to multi-Task
* Computer literate in word processing and spreadsheet software
